Scott's Story

Life I attended Pharmacy School at Northeast LA University from 87-92 and graduated with B.S. in Pharmacy. I married Myra Misuraca in 1993. She also graduated pharmacy school. Worked for Wal*Mart Pharmacy for 13 years (Baker and Gonzales) and was pharmacy manager for most of that time. I was offered opportunities to move up in Wal*Mart but all opportunities involved moving away and Myra and I are not interested in moving since all of both of our families live here. We built a house in Prairieville, LA in 1996. We have 2 kids (Julia-8/14/1997 and Scotty 11/24/2000). Myra is a partner in long term care pharmacy (service nursing homes, etc...) We both work there now. I opened a pharmacy consulting company in 1998 and still operate that on the side. I currently am also a long term speaker for Watson Pharmaceuticals giving seminars to health care professionals about once a month. Myra and I still visit Port Allen/Brusly and our parents once every 1...Expand for more
to 2 weeks and I am still in touch with some of my closest friends from Port Allen High (Brent Simpson, Jeff Bergeron, Joey Thibodeaux, Becky Boudreaux, Glen Daigle, Catherine (Higgins) Cointment, etc... Myra and I particularly enjoy going to Port Allen for Mardi Gras Parade and Holy Family Bear Fair where we always get to see lots of people we went to school with and catch up with what is going on in everyone's lives. I'm still a huge sports fan and don't miss a home LSU football game and like to keep up with NFL, Major League Baseball (Go Cardinals!) and NBA. Myra and I both love to travel and have been blessed with the opportunity to do a pretty good bit of traveling. Our favorite spot recently has been the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. We like Las Vegas a lot and can not wait to go back to Hawaii where we honeymooned. We spend a lot of time with our families since they still all live here (greater Baton Rouge area). That's about it!!!!
