Scott's Story
After graduating DAHS, I went to college and majored in Accounting and
soon after graduating passed the CPA exam. I really didn't make any money and was not personally satisfied in the Accounting profession so I retrained and entered the Information Technology (IT) field. In IT I quickly found my Accounting/Business and IT training was a dynamite combination. Speaking in complete sentences without confusing people probably didn't hurt either!:) I also lecture at my local Community College on various IT topics. I enjoy mentoring young minds and remain hopeful I AM making a difference. It's always touching to have a former student rememeber me as his/her mentor and professor. An unfinished chapter in my life is passing the Bar exam yet I find my knowledege of the law very satisfying. ity in Washington DC. To this day, I frequent DC and have a better understanding and appreciation of the global view of our economy and how world governments work. On a personal note, I am married and adopted two beautiful girls from China. I live in Camp Hill, PA and welcome any contact from my DAHS classmates. I'm also working on my profiles at Facebook and LinkedIn. In my not so much spare time, I really enjoy growing flowers. Tulips in January...Marigolds in March...Not a Problem! Someday I hope to speak at the Philadelphia Flower Show and see the great gardens of Europe. I now regret not going to France with my DAHS French Class...at least I would have seen the Gardens of Versailles. In closing, please find a way to make a difference in the lives around you. Above all maintain your faith, dreams, and convictions. Without these precepts nothing else matters.
