Scott's Story

After High School I went far, far away to the University of Oregon. I took only 7 years to get my 4-year degree in Accounting. I bummed around for the next couple of years looking for a job in my field. Finally ended up working for a small software company in West Eugene called Abracadata (now defunct). I stayed there for 7 years before working at King Estate Winery for the next seven years. Since 2009, I've worked for Datalogic in West Eugene.
In 1995, I met a wonderful lady named Marissa, and we got married in 1997. Some of you might have seen her...Expand for more
at the 15-year reunion. She had a lot of health problems when we met. She had lost her kidneys when she was young, and was unable to receive any more transplants, so she had to do kidney dialysis 3 times/week. Eventually, the treatments took their toll on her body, and she passed away in 2001.
The next year, I started dating Liane (who was a friend from church), and we married in 2003. We bought a house in Veneta, and moved back to Eugene in 2008.
Our daughter Mira is 10, and our son Ezra is 7.
