Scott's Story
I married my high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Eakes ('74) after graduating from college in 1977. We went to college in KY at Asbury College, I took a year off to work, and then we moved to Atlanta, GA where I got my Masters degree in Counseling. We moved back to Flint in 1980, moved to Traverse City in 1982 and started our family. We remained in Traverse City until 5 years ago when we moved to SW Virginia. from 4-27. Two of our children are married and we are expecting our first grandchild any day. We live in the country and have a small farm, loving it and enjoying God's beautiful world. I've been a social worker, a probation/parole officer, and now a construction salesman. We homeschool and have a large lending library of out of print children's books. I know, it sounds boring, but we are very happy and grateful for what a great life God has given us!
