Scott's Story
Life
Since 1991 and for the forseeable future, I am living and working in the Atlanta,GA area. I have been with my partner Scotty since 2002 after two failed marriages (I wonder why?) The best thing to come out of the marriages are three beautiful daughters: two from the first- grown and still in CA, and one here from the second.
I have never completely given up on performing. Until it was disbanded, was part of a performance (song and dance) troupe at the Home Depot Corporate office. My goal is someday to make it to NYC to stay. That has always been my dream. I finally made it this past June (2007) to visit. It was all I expected and then some.
Workplace
The Home Depot has been good to me since I started with them in 1991. I am currently a manager in the Customer Care area. It makes for great party conversation when people find out. Just when I think I've heard it all...
The best part of the job has been the travel opportunities I have been provided: Mumbai, India; Toronto, Canada; Lewiston, Maine; Chattanooga, Tennessee. Some obviously more exotic that others, but all enjoyable.
