Scott's Story
Life
My life is great I am active duty Army an E6, E7 promotable the only thing that sucks about the army is that I am gona all the time weather ranges, training and all my deployments and another one coming up Oct 2011 for another year, so I barley get time with my family.I am finished my accociate's dregree and am working on my Bachelor's degree and then Im gonna dropp off my packet for OCF Officers school. I will be an officer for the rest of my time in the army and when I retire for a fact. I have 4 beautiful children two of them live in CT with my ex-wife. I have 3 girls and 1 boy, My son I adopted casue my wifes ex-husband gave up his rights so now he is my son he always was anyways he is the oldest of all of them is name is jason Alexander then comes Keala Renee and then Lindsey Morgan and last but not least Anastasia Juliette Giles Keala and Lindsey are my two girls in CT.My wife is the best wife a husband could ever have her name is Marsha she is a great mother ans Step-mother too and she works her but off while im gone and when im here with her job and cooking and cleaning I try to help clean but she says I dont do it right LOL so the yard work and repair s around the house and yard are my main jobs as far as my hunnydo list invalves and I do cook too, im a darn good cook! My son has garbage detail he has to do something to learn responsability and earn money he does other things too. I gotta say my wife holds us and thing altogether she keeps us in check like I said she works her butt off. I love my wife and kids so much. My wife and I have been married for 9 years and together for almost 11 years and if I dont get to update this again for awhile our wedding Ann. is Jan.5th 2002.All I have to say is that im a very luckey man, im very blessed with all I have in my life. School
Well School was pretty fun being that it was a christian school. We had our moments. I wish I would have went to college awhile back ago, but I got stuck in a dead end marriage with my ex-wife. I now have my chance to go back to college so im going to take it while im young. Im going for my A.A and my B.A. Thank god for my prepaid college from mom and pops.I finished some college back in Florida and now when I get back from my tour in Afgan I will be on school opp thats where they give you time off for school and so I will finish the rest of my classes needed. Thank god for the free military college fund and that I will finaly get to finish school and get my degree.
College
I just finished my Secound semester with Another 4.0 G.P.A, now off to my next one. Im so excited! I have waited so long for this and im so glad that I have this secound chance in life to make more of it for my wife and children. I got my Associate's Degrees in concentration in Accounting and in concentration in Foundations of Business and now am working on my Bachelor's Degree Business Management and Accounting im taking all my classes online courses . I have to work extra hard due to my online classes.Thanks to good ol moms and pops for getting me my Florida prepaid college.I never thought it would be possiable to go back to school. nts me to be happy and live the life I have always wanted. I will work hard to make that happen. I am very lucky to have this secound chance in life. That was when I was in Florida befor the militray. Now that I am in the military I will get free college again and will be certian to finish my degree this time around cause when I reinlisted for another 4 years I got School opp in my contract so they will have to let me do it sometime this year 2011 before deployment I can also do classes during deployment like I did to finish up my Associate's degree. Maybe I will work on my masters after all this but all I need to get into officer school and become an officer is my Bachelor's degree really I can get in with my Accociate's but I wanna finish my bach before OCF School cause that school is very long.My plan is to be an officer when I retire and yes it will happen.
Workplace
Thank god Im not A manager at Friendlys anymore man, I had to get the heck out of Manchester CT. "For more then one reason"
Im so glad I got my life on track with my current job. Now my life is going somewhere with my job,my wife and my children.The military is great. I deff. recomend it for young familys or even older familys, you cant ask for more we get BAH which is basic housing allowence thats free rent or morgage money as well as Free medical for any and every medical problem its the best healt care and Dental too. Not to mention you will always get paid on the 1st and the 15th of every month and all the extra pays I get for jump pay, yes I jump from airplanes too. You also get a clothing allowence every year and you get a raise in Bah and pay every year in Jan. not to forget the raise you get every year for time in service in the military and of course the raises you get for being promoted, That is alot of Cheeder, I can say we are living welll and while im gone on tour we get all sort of crazy extra pay at least a $1000.00 extra a mnt. on top of my reg pay. Its crazy the amount of money we make and all the benefits we get. Always garented a job everyday till retirement and a paycheck every two weeks and after I retiar I can get a cival service job maken really good money again plus get my retierment on top of that. Been on a few tours and it is hard missing the family but Marsha my wife and I cant see us living any other way,plus she works too so we make a very good living and she dosent even have to work we would still be on top with just my pay not that is nice, you cant beat it with a stick even if you tryed. It was the best job des.I have ever made.
Military
First and formost I joined for my family,second I did it to defend our country.I left March 5 2003, I missed my daughters first b-day as well as missing me and my wifes birthday. That was hard not seeing them. But things have changed, I had a blast at Boot Bamp and A.I.T trainging.Im not gonna lie I have been on so many tours and army training schools that I have missed alot of birthdays and wedding ann.and thats a hard thing to go through, but still the military is the best job I have and ever have had.
I am now an Airborne Army SSG E6 of the 82nd Airborne at the Army Base in Fort Bragg NC. Still loving what I do and my wife and kids are still the best things in my life as well as my family and friends. If you want to know more just hit me up by email or bulletin board.
