Guess I will remain a confirmed batchelor as I am now 4 months intu 51. Dont like this aging thing at all, but stay active working out at Golds , Mountain View, M-F 11:30-12-30. Only alum I have ever ran into there was Pete Ryan. He has a star quarterback who I am sure is playing at some level. Never had any kids, a couple of miscarries with women a bit different but I probably would have married them and still be married. Jim Vangelos and I almost became brothers in law, but like my Dad used to Joke "we dont want any greeks in our family". Sort of retired for the last couple years, as I left IBM to start up a Manufacturers Rep firm with a friend. Take my advise dont start a business on friendship. Spend a lot of time In Rosarito Beach and am currently lookiing for the perfect spec lot . Baja Penninsula is booming due to baby boomers cashing out their equity and still being close enough to San Diego for doctors, etc. In addition to lifting weights, I also box at a club in Mtn View called Contenders. is a great trail and camping horse. Most of the improvement goes to Jim Vangelos, cousin George when he came to the mainland about 6 yrs ago. Talk about a small world, George has an old man friend by the name of George Yap, that my Mom Met and became lifetime friends in 1935. My Dad passed away in Aug 2004 to prostate cancer. Neither my brother Tobe nor myself would have ever dreamed Dad would go before Mom. He was so active , never sick a day in his life, jogged 2 miles/day at 81 and skiied at least 40-50 days a year. He was a Damned good skiier, double black diamond runs at 81. Well Im going to eave it at that except to mention that both my Niece Deanne and Nephew Rob graduated Leland. Rob started at right guard for the freshman/soph team and was called up to the varsity end of his soph year. He didnt do much then due to a knee injury and at least 3 concussions, the one that ended his leland football career came on a kickoff coverage against Eddie Bullers Oak Grove. At least Rob got to play two years with the son of my friend Jeff Jones. He is now playing Lacrosse at chico.
