Scott's Story

Workplace Film Composer: SCOTT GREER – Studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated ‘Magna Cum Laude’ with a Bachelor Of Music in Composition and Orchestration. He began his career as an orchestral composer which he parlayed into working as a studio musician with three time Oscar winner Giorgio Moroder. After touring with Grammy nominee Laura Branigan for two and half years, Scott set his sights on television and worked on over 100 commercial and promo compositions. He soon translated that experience into television series composition and has worked with USA, MTV, HBO, CBS, Bravo/NBC, AMC and IFC. including the recently released adventure picture Treasure Raiders. Though coming from the world of orchestral composition, Scott is incredibly adept at popular and ethnic genres. In addition to being an accomplished pianist and guitarist he can also play various ethnic instruments, which he has perfected while performing on six continents. Facile with cross-pollinating music genres that amplify the emotional content of each project Scott has created a fresh and unique sound. He’s built a career consistently exceeding expectations both artistically and professionally.
