What's been happening with me?
Lois and I were married in 1980 so this year we celebrated our 27th anniversary. We do not have children.
In 1980 I received an associates degree in Digital Computer Electronics the started working for a number companies:
* Engineering Research and Development group for Litton Industries on military aircraft instrumentation.
* Engineering Research and Development group for Cooper Biomedical on automated hospital lab analysis machines.
* Software Engineering for Lynk Corporation.
In 1991, I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science all done in the evening while working a full time job.
* In 1992 I took Software Engineering with Computer Sciences Corp in Moorestown, NJ on the Navy's AEGIS project. During this time I did...Expand for more
the Masters program in Computer Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
* In Dec 2001 I took a software engineering position with Keck Observatory in Hawaii. At Keck I worked on improving the telescope software and helping it to do more and better science. Really cool stuff but NASA funding cuts cut out my job so ...
* In July 2007 I took a Software Engineering position with Ratheon-Solisys in Lihue Kauai, Hawaii.
Since July 2007 :
* Traffic is bad on Kauai. It's always backed up in Lihue and Kapaa.
As for hobbies:
* I still play drums - mostly for our church's praise team. However, I did play with a Surf Band (wipe out, endless summer, pipeline, Mr moto .... kind of stuff) and jammed R&B/Blues with some guys at Keck.
* I have been doing amateur astronomy since the late 80's.
