Scott's Story
Full circle. Air Force brat, traveled the world in the Navy, now back in an Air Force community. Happily left WR in the rear view mirror in 1981 and only visit occasionally. Happily married for 22+ years with an adult son. Tried marriage just after HS and tried divorce a year later. Waited until I was 30 and did it right this time.
Chose sobriety in 1986 and wrote song lyrics to express my decision. I'll share a little of it:
There's a place not far away if you choose to choose the wrong door.
Been there once and I stayed awhile, ain't goin' back no more.

I still brag about the WRHS football tradition, but unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I have to say about WR. I do miss Sonny's BBQ and there's not one within 100 miles of me now. : (
