Scott's Story
After school, I went to college where, to be honest, I could not find what I really wanted to do. I changed majors a couple of times and finished 20 hrs. short of my degree. I applied for the police department(LPD) and was hired in 1993. I have had many different jobs with the department. I rode the beat in the west end of the city in 1994-1995. ason Officer from 1999-2002 where I was assigned to Iroquois Housing Development. I went back to the street in 2002 and rode the beat until 2007 when I became a detective in the LMPD 4th division. I have served as a member of the SWAT team and have been a training officer. I am eligible for retirement in 2013.
I have a great family. My wife, Heather, owns her own furniture business and I have 2 kids, Caitlyn 4 years old, and Joshua who will be 1 in March. I now live in Fern Creek.
