Scott's Story
Life
Born: May 9, 1962 in Fort Collins, CO. Raised on family farm/ranch in Lewis, CO. Graduated from MCHS in May 1980. Attended college starting with Fort Lewis College in 1980 - 1983, then transferred to Colo. State University and graduated in 1986 with BS in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. Achieved the Engineer in Training (EIT) status for the State of Colorado. Employed at Woodward Governor Co. from 1986 through 1994. Became a husband to Peggy Koskie (Eckstein) in 1989. Changed jobs in 1994 to work for AT&T/Hyundai/Symbios Logic/LSI Logic through several acquistions. Became a father to my son, Justin, in 2001. Bought 320 acres in mid April 2003 then became an unemployed statistic two days later. bs (independent marketing consultant for GoBiCON, truck driver for Western Sugar/Aulick Leasing hauling beets during the winters of 2003, 2004, 2005 (Northern & Eastern Colorado campaign). Became an employed at Woodward Governor Co. in March 2004. Laid off by Woodward in Jan 2005. Worked for local John Deere Dealership from Mar 2005 until Feb 2007 as a mechanic & Service Manager. Now working for DEIF (a Danish owned company) and living the career dream once again.
Changes in life are always consistant. Processing through a divorce with Peggy but still maintaining an equal and close relationship with my son, Justin. Have met a wonderful cowgirl, Carrie Jo Saunders who is proof and reminds me the smaller things in life are what matter. Also spending time reaching out to contact old friends and colleagues that I have around the world.
