Forty years. Put forty years of life in a couple paragraphs.
The number 31 played a big part in my life. It was my draft number. I avoided the service for a couple years by going to college, but in the end, my number was up. I joined the Navy rather than being drafted. I was stationed on the east coast - Norfolk, VA and Charleston SC. Got out 90 days early.

ed to Washington and went to work at the shipyard in Bremerton. Thirty years later I got to retire. Suprisingly, it continues to operate without me.
I got married in '71, divorced after 32 years. I have two great kids that seem to have their act together. They got their degrees and found work that they seem to enjoy in the area of their studies.
After I retired, I became a full time RVer. Winters are spent in Arizona, summers are spent driving around the country finding roads to ride.
