Life Well after high school I jpoined the US Navy and became a Rescue Swimmer. Worked on Jet Engines for the rest of my 4 years 10 months and 17 days I was there....After the Navy I wanted to become a US Marshal and with a little help found out that if I got in to Law Enforcement I would have a good chance of being hired since I had no Degree. I started working at the jail in Louisville Ky in 1995 while getting out of a bad marriage. Did 3 years in jail as it were and after several attempts FINALLY made it on to the road as a police officer in 1998. In the summer of 2000 I tested for the US Marshals office...And in typical Federal ways they ran out of money! In June 2002 I got the call I wanted to hear!! Just a year late...I had suffered a knee injury in May 2001 and had a reconstruction done on my left knee. I had not been cleared by my Dr and went ahead and accepted the interview and flew to Philly to interview. What a waste of $$$... They interviewed me and were leaning in the direction of hireing when they read my medical background. Asked if I had been cleared and I stated NO...Thats all they needed to hear...Expand for more
