Scott's Story
Spent my early days growing up in Palos Verdes, south bay area. Moved I to Huntington Beach in 1966. I went to Wardlow Elementary near Adams Ave and Magnolia. I always assumed I would go to Edision HS, but my parents decided to move to a larger home in Costa Mesa/ Mesa Verde. The only good I saw from that move was I would be closter to the Speedway at the Fairgrounds! During my HS Years, I worked for the usual Pizza Parlor Restaurants, and The Rusty Pelican and Ancient Mariner. I also worked for the OC Swap Meet and for a short time worked for The Newport Harbor Board of Realtors and Steve Martin's Dad, Glen Martin. I worked for 2 years at Stater Brothers on Newport Ave.
After Estancia High School at Costa Mesa, Went to College at OCC and Irvine Valley, Played in a few Club Bands, Moved to Tustin, CA in 1984. Married Cortney Tiernan. Worked for a Dynacast in Tustin as a Sales Engineer selling precision parts for Aerospace as well as Fender, G & L Music Instruments, Rickenbacker Guitars. Career move in 1986 to US Electric Motors in Orange as a specialist in Large Frame AC Motors up to 2000 HP for Pumps, Blowers, Compressors. Had 2 Kids, AJ and Caitlin. Purchased 1st Home in the Tustin / Orange area. Career move again to a Sales Engineer position for Fan Engineering Co., Huntington Beach. Had Twin Boys, Austin and Jensen. Still pursuing Music as a Hobby, built 2 Recording Studios, hired out as a session player for local artists, bands and commercial producers.

a number of Industrial Air Pollution Control Manufacturers, dealing with large scale public works projects. Plan, Spec and Bid. I deal mostly with Plant Dust Collection, Odor Control Systems, and Toxic Chemical Destruction Equipment. Purchased second home in the City of Orange in 1998.
Started FanAir Co in 1999 involved in Specialized Heavy Equipment and Air Pollution control design and sales. Most of my clients are OEM Manufacturers, and Mechanical Contractors. I now represent 6 major OEM Manufacturers across the 5 western states, as well as design Heavy Duty Industrial Acoustic Machinery Silencers and Design / Build Custom Acoustic Sound Enclosures. My current Enclosure design offering is unique and is being specified throughout the US by Consulting Mechanical Engineers.
Currently still married to Cortney after 27 years, have 4 kids, 3 grand kids. In my spare time I purchase and restore vintage Cars, collect and restore and repair vintage musical instruments, and repair restore Tube Amplifiers. I have a recording studio in the back of my home and compose and record original music. I have also been collecting vintage Lionel Trains and have a large expanding custom O Gage train layout in my sun room. I am currently restoring and customizing a Vintage VW Bus and hope to be able to take it to some local car shows this summer.
