Scott's Story

Life Hi there! Alrighty, where do I start? I guess I'll give a rundown on my life.... After high school I went to USC, did the usual college partying for 4 yrs - fraternity (Lambda Chi Alpha), NROTC, worked, etc. I got commissioned as an officer in the Navy when I graduated, went off to flight school in Florida to become a Naval Aviator, then got stationed out in Hawaii for my first squadron (VP-17 then VP-9). After 3 deployments I moved to Sicily, Italy for a few years to work out of the Tactical Support Center there in Sigonella. I got out of the Navy after that tour, and returned stateside. I went to grad school in Phoenix at Thunderbird for a couple of years......Expand for more
had a son during that time (I didn't get married), then moved up to Seattle... In Seattle I built and owned a record store with my brother while moonlighting on graveyard shifts to make ends meet. I finally extracted myself from that and got a job consulting - and worked on a contract up there with Boeing to help design the P-8A - the plane that is going to replace the one I flew (P-3). Finished with that contract and transferred down to San Diego to work with the Navy on a contract here - I'm finally back in So Cal and loving it! I did the Navy / Defense Contractor thing for about a decade and then early retirement! So that's my life in a nutshell...so far so good!
