Scott's Story
I was involved in wrestling, gymnastics, and footbal at Maine West. Those who knew me would probably say I was extremely competitive. I hope you've forgiven me for that.
I moved to Texas when my folks moved to Ohio. I taught deaf education in Houston for 3 years, then decided to get my doctorate in Deaf Ed. I have taught at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoch...Expand for more
es, Texas for the past 12 years. I have three children, all college age. I've been married since 1997. Probably the biggest change, though, was realizing that I was trying to prove myself worthy. I finally got the message that you don't have to prove yourself to anyone. Salvation is a free gift from Jesus. You can't earn it, you can only give thanks for it and accept it.
