Life
Hi classmates from years ago! It is a great pleasure to hear from all of you. Lots going on and everyone wants something yesterday! After 4 yrs at Cornell, 2 yrs at Penn State for my Masters in Physiology, 1 year on the Penn State faculty in animal science, and then back to vet school at Cornell, I finally own my own equine and large animal veterinary practice located in Winslow, ME. Being an owner makes you your own boss-it's great but stressful. My daughter graduated from the University of Maine at Orono and is now on a PhD track in Biomedical engineering at Notre Dame with a full scholarship - she loves the university but is almost 18 hours away by car! My son started college but found he liked to work and enjoy life a little bit before possibly completing his degree in mechanical engineering. Lots of pets here ...Expand for more
in this old farmstead which has been fully renovated. Beautiful rural property along the Sebasticook River. Surrounded by lots of wild animals( fox, turkeys, deer, moose, eagles,....) so the cats have become keen escape artists. I am now divorced, since 2007. Enjoying country life, veterinary work, country bands and dancing the night away. Still active coaching soccer and playing occasionally but the old body has racked by decades of veterinary work with cattle and horses. Stop by when you're in the Vacationland! Looking to see you all soon. Hope to retire early and enjoy life!.
* Yo Bill Pardy - I still have the first red soccer shirt from the team Pardy's sponsored way back - I now have my USSF D license in soccer coaching and am still playing and coaching all over New England. Keep in touch.
