Scott's Story

Well, Here it is. My life since high school. After graduation, I managed to sit still for one semester at Stark Technical College. I met my wife, Kathy Lynn Leighley, at Chuck Linsenbigler's wedding that July. Joined the Air Force in March of '77. Got married December 27, 1979. Stationed at Robbins AFB, Georgia my entire enlistment. Discharged March 21, 1981. Moved back to Canton and started working for Timken in May the same year. Still working there after 26 plus years. Along the way, I've been blessed with a son and a daughter born 2 years apart. During their time growing up, in addition to work, I was active coaching Little League baseball and softball. spent time working with both the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. I am now working hard to prepare myself for the duties of being Grandpa. My grandson, Ayden Joshua, was born October 27, 2006. After reaching the unthinkable weight of 342 pounds. This past July(2007), I decided that if I wanted to see Ayden graduate, I needed to improve my health. Started following the South Beach diet. I am now down to 278 pounds and feeling good. Hope to lose another 75 to 100 pounds over the next year. Well, that's it in a nutshell. I'm always happy to hear from anyone from my past. I hope that everyone who takes the time to read this has enjoyed their life so far as much as I have.
