Scott's Story

Life I escaped Nebraska in 1990 after attending 2 years at UNL and ended up in Tucson, AZ. After not donig much of anything, I spent 4 years in the Navy and returned to Tucson to work on airplanes and finish school. I have since finished my BS in Professional Aeronautics and MS in Management, worked for Learjet, Inc., got married, had a couple of kids, and then got a different job as a Field Service Engineer at Universal Avionics Systems. Like I mentioned earlier, I am now married with 2 wonderful kids. metimes wonder what I would be doing if I had not escaped Nebraska. I guess what they say is true...Nebraska is a nice place to be from. I have been back a few times to see a Husker game and also to attend the 10 year reunion. I do miss the green of a nice lawn, but don't miss mowing it. I miss the seasons, but don't miss the below freezing temps and shoveling snow. I enjoy playing golf in the middle of Dec-Jan, the sunshine, and being close to many things (i.e. Vegas, L.A., San Diego, etc.) My life is wonderful now and I have no complaints except for the fact that I haven't won the lottery yet. I have a great house, awesome job, a wonderful wife, two lovely kids, and am enjoying all that life has to offer.
