Scott's Story

Life ok, a bio that just says something: Life takes you many places... for me it was a travel around the country. Started off in Key West, FL then off to St. Louis, MO. After a time, we moved onward to Long Beach, CA. Then back to St. Louis, and then stayed in the west thereafter around La Cresenta, CA. So far, a lot of time in and around St. Louis and Los Angeles. Then we moved out to the small town of Fillmore, CA. Still close enough to LA to be a subburb at only 50 miles.. or at least it was standard commuting distance for my dad. That's where things started really - before then we expected the move every 2-3 years. Did Jr. High & first year of High school there. Was really cool being in a small town. Really had that feel like Back To The Future or something of the sort.. The move to Washington was the best thing we did however. California is too crowded and it was a whole lot more laid back up there. Did my last 3 years of high school just as Liberty went to being a 4 year school. Most remarkable thing was the division in groups there (at least at first). The Rockers & the Wavers.. lotsa culture clash there. Me, the outsider pretty much stayed that way through my time in school. I regret not getting into it a bit more. However I worked on good grades - which was the best thing to do with the time anyhow. Explored a lot of Washington through the 10+ years I was there. That was the best part ... exploring, road trips, and just having fun going places. Think that's a great American spirit to have! Helped my parents move to Arizona and didn't find much of a reason to come back. AZ has...Expand for more
a class of its own that makes you welcome in some respects. The desert is just as scenic as the forests, especially in the Tucson area. Between the saguaros and the monsoon season, it is fun. The thunderstorms are the best of any place in the US! Besides the usual exploring adventures, the storm chasing was great. Moved many times around Tucson. Explored "my spot" to live several times. Became lonely, I mean very lonely.. met a few women, most of them had problems. We're talking serious issues - be it mental, physical, or addictive. Spent my "trials of women" over 3 years before finding the one for me. She's sweet, sassy, and just super classy. (ok - it's cute). That's when life changed... it became us, not just me... Just a simple evening of enjoying each other's company (a date night) for dinner, movie, and a stroll under the stars. Well the date night was over when the sun started showing up, but we weren't. We stayed together and can't imagine ever being apart. Three months later it was a marriage and a honeymoon in Flagstaff/Grand Canyon. A half year later we were on our way buying that typical dream house in a decent neighborhood. It was great - however we didn't really want to be in the heat forever. We looked north for comfort from the heat - to live without 100 degrees for weeks on end. That was a dream that became real to us. Onward ho - moved back to Washington just a year or so later. Ended up around Woodinville. Weather's great, however it comes at a cost - colder winter and higher prices overall. I know that no matter where we go, we'll be happy because we're together...
