Life Since graduation, I have criss crossed the country. I went to Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Then I went to Bakersfield, California to work as an engineer looking to maximize the recovery of oil from existing and new oilfields. Kind of like the TV show "Dallas"... After a few years of that, the Saudi's decided to wreck the business and flood the market with oil so I left the industry and took my first sales job in Madison, WI selling water treatment chemicals and consulting on maximizing energy efficiency of the operation of steam boilers, cooling systems and wastewater sewage systems. At that time, I met my lovely bride, Chris and we married in Madison. A half a year later, we moved to Appleton, WI and I took a job selling process control systems to paper mills for a company called ABB. Chris became the National Sales Manager for the NBC Affliate in Green Bay. I worked for ABB for nine years, then went to work for a competitor, Honeywell. There, I assumed the corporate relationship for the worldwide operations of Kimberly-Clark. And in Appleton is where we started a family, 2 girls and a boy were born there.
