Scott's Story
Went to college for one year and then off to Vietnam. Came back with PTSD but
did not know it until later. I always was one to go with the beat of my own drum most of the time. After four and one half years in the military, I went
back to college and graduated with honors in 1974. After college, moved south and worked for ALCOA. While I was
working at ALCOA, I met and married a real southern girl; we have never lived
anywhere but Alabama for the 32+ years of our married bliss. We had a boy and a girl along the way, and now have three
grandchildren and another (boy) on the

he age of five. There I worked for Social Security until I
retired in 2004. We have since moved
down to Daphne, Al which is across the
bay from Mobile. I've only been back to "The Burg" twice since we graduated
from high school; once in 1977 as a
witness in a trial, and the other time
in July 2008 to note all the changes
from "the good old" days. I couldn't
believe how things had changed, but it
had been a LONG time! Now I just laze
around, fishing when I want, and then
occasionally golfing or just enjoying
the countryside where I live. I hope to reconnect with some of the class of '66 grads, as I have never been able to attend any of the reunions, and was sorry the 40th anniversary was canceled.
