t after graduation, and after a funfilled 16 weeks in Basic Training and the Air Force police academy, I went to the 9th Security Poice Squadron at Beale AFB CA (about 45 miles northeast of Sacramento). Reassigned to the 569th US Forces Police Flight in Vogelweh, Germany (that's the on- and off- base Law Enforcement unit for the military community surrounding Kaiserslautern, Germany). After almost five years at the 569th, my retraining package was apptoved. I left Germany for McChord AFB, Tacoma, WA and began training as a C-17 Loadmaster. I was originally with the 4th Airlift Squadron, but in OCT 03 I was sent to the 10th AS, where I still am.
