Sean's Story

Life Joined the Army Reserves as an MP in '87, graduated from Mt. Healthy in '88. In '89 I went to Honduras for a couple weeks with the reserves, then went active duty when I got back and went straight to Frankfurt, Germany. Went to Desert Storm in '90-'91, then back to Germany and transfered to Ft. Bragg. Did some more fun stuff and got out in '93. Became a cop down in Florida. Did SWAT and investigations, started my department's first gang investigations unit, had enough after about 5 years, quit, married Kacie and moved to Colorado. Learned about computers, became an MCSE and started a new career in computer networking. Better hours, better pay and I haven't been to the emerge...Expand for more
ncy room once! Joined back into the reserves in 2001, same year Caitlin was born and 9-11 changed the world. Finished my BS in Computer Networking (Magna Cum Laude- never would have guessed that from high school!) from Regis University in 2003. My son, Ian, was born that year and 3 weeks later I was activated for Iraqi Freedom. Had a long but interesting year away, working mostly as an investigator in Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Came home to my family in Maine, and this is where I still am. I work for the Maine Turnpike Authority, handling their servers and network. Still in the reserves, but now in a unit that teaches the cadets at West Point how to shoot. That's about it!
