Sean's Story
After leaving St.Gregory High School in 1988 I attended Gordon Technical High School in Summer and consequent night school where I made up the credits I failed during senior year. I received my high school diploma in November of 1989.
I then set out on a series of full time retail jobs, some good, some not so good. In 1999 I started my carrer in IT at First Chicago (now JP Morgan Chase NA) until 2005.
It was at that time I was diagnosed with acute renal (Kidney) failure. I am currently on dialysis three times a week for four hours each day.

uble edged sword. Obviously no one would like to have a health condition such as this but it made quite a difference in me as a person. I am now more involved in every facet of my life. I am more active now than I was ever before and am doing everything I have always wanted to do.
Currently I am taking classes at a Chicago City College hacking away at the prerequisites for a career in nursing.
I enjoy playing drums, which I have been doing since 1987. I also am learning the guitar and play an active role in the hard rock/ metal scene in Chicago and Atlanta.
