Selina's Story

Life I have three children: Michael (12), Victoria (9), and Vanessa(4). They are good kids. I have been blessed. I'm married to Michael Barrera Sr. We've been together for 18 years and married for 15 years. He's my soul mate and a wonderful man and a awesome father. We have a familly business. We work together. It's a lot of work, but well worth it. My son Michael Jr. is a brown belt and plays drums. Victoria is very athletic. She is in ballet, gymnastics, and hip hop. Every year she performs in the Nutcracker. Its a lot of work and preparation, but she has a drive that I can't even keep up with. Vanessa is my baby. She is also in ballet for now. I suppose when she is older she will be doing other things as well. Vanessa is hearing impaired. She does sign and speaks. I have had to learn sign language and I find it quite interesting. We have three additional family members. Our pets. Scooter, Koda, and Lilly. Scoot...Expand for more
er and Lilly are miniture schnauzers and Koda is a maltese. They are silly little things! I swore off pets after my Huskey died last summer. I had her for 15 years. She was the best pet that I could ever ask for. I don't know how we ended up with three little pups after that. Mike and I still see our best friends from school. I see Laura at least once a month. We will go out for lunch or dine with our husbands. We speak to eachother every week. I still keep in touch with Crystal. We keep in touch at least once a month and get together at least once or twice every 6 months. My days are consumed with work and driving my kids to their classes. In addition to that, I serve on a board and attend meetings. I volunteer as well for different organizations for my children. All work is plenty. but well worth it. I have no complaints for all I have experienced and recieved. I feel that I am and I hope to continue to be blessed.
