September's Story

Life I started out working with race horses for 7 years. I was married to an owner, trainer, driver of harness horses. We traveled from one end of the US to the other. Then I had my daughter, and settled in KY for one year. There I got pregnant with my son. Before he could be born, I left my husband and moved back to MN. I went back to college after I had my son. I now work for the child protection/chemical dependency division of our county human services. I got married again, to a roofer this time. But, alas, that lasted for 16 years. ne Elementary for 2nd & 3rd grades. I then went to Steele Middle School for 4th, 5th & 6th grades. I went to Churchill Jr. High for 7th grade. I went to Lombard Jr. High for the 8th grade. I went to Galesburg Senior High School for the 9th, 10th & 11th grades. My family moved to MN in June of '83. I went 1 quarter of my senior year at Johnson Senior High School in St. Paul, MN. I left home in Nov. of '83, and went to work with race horses. After 7 years of traveling and working, I decided that I wanted to get my GED, and go to college. I got my GED, and went to Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove Heights, MN. I acquired an AA degree as a Legal Secretary in June 1992.
