September Dunst:

CLASS OF 1981
Fullerton, CA

September's Story

After high school I attended Fullerton College for one year, then moved north to Davis, CA with Julie Dampier. I graduated in 1988 from UC Davis with a degree in American Studies, and after college worked at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I met my husband Jeff while working as a blackjack dealer at Harrah's Lake Tahoe while in college. We married in 1988 and moved to Utah where we lived for 12 years. Living in the spectacular mountain west was amazing, and Jeff and I sometimes kick ourselves for relocating! I was a program manager at University of Utah until I had my daughter, Gwendolen, and ...Expand for more
became a stay-at-home mom. We moved to Minnesota in 2000 to be close to my extended family and Jeff's family. I get back to Fullerton for a couple of weeks every summer to see my parents, and miss being near the ocean and mountains (it's too cold here!). Going home is really the highlight of my year. It takes leaving California to really appreciate it. My daughter is a freshman in high school and I work part time in our school district with autistic and learning disabled kids. For fun, I love to travel around to visit friends and family and to belly dance (not great at it but it's a blast!).
