Life
I've hit a few bumps in the road of life recently, but, overall, life is very good.
I can't believe that I've lived in Davis longer than anywhere else in my life. I actually moved to Michigan to become a faculty member at Michigan State University, but moved back to Davis when I had to choose between my marriage and my job. food marketing consultant for 10 years...got to eat my way through a lot of interesting food and met lots of great people. Now I'm a faculty member at UC Davis. Most of my work focuses on improving market access for small farmers and specialty food producers.
I'm still madly in love with my husband of 30+ years (well--most of the time!) and our daughter is turning 16 soon.
