Severina's Story

I was born in San Antonio and was raised in the westside. I attended J. T. Brackenridge Elementary, then attended Sidney Lanier from the 7th to 10th grade. My dad passed away in 1963 and in the summer of my sophomore year, my mom passed away. I went to live with my uncle and aunt. I was given the choice of attending Brackenridge, Highlands or Fox Tech. Joskes of Texas Dept. Store and was there for 20 years in the credit dept. Aside from Joskes, I also worked for the Bexar County Appraisal District, San Antonio Retail Merchants, Chrysler Credit, Tejano Music Awards, Hermes Music, Guitar Center and Retirement Housing Foundation, from which retired in 2014. I married my husband Manuel Castillo, Fox Tech Class of 68 graduate, in 1974. We are blessed to have one daughter and three wonderful grandchildren

Such nice memories. TTMA event back in 95. Had a great time. Love this picture with Letty Guval DeLuna, Stephanie Lynn, Delia Gonzales and Dee Burleson. It was close to Christmas backstage at La Villita. Awesome show!!!
