Shancy's Story

Life My husband Gene and I just moved back to NC after having spent a little over a year in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was not for us, although it was hard to move back to NC and away from our nephews. We miss them so! We are currently renting an apartment in the downstairs of my parents home until we find some land. Before we left we were selling 2 houses here in the mountains...and of course, right before we decided to come back, both of them sold. We are happy to be back in the south!! or RCDS visiting my profile is welcome to contact me...I enjoy catching up with old friends! Workplace I work as a licensed Loan Officer. My job allows me to make my own hours and so we travel whenever possible. We just returned from a trip to Panama (our 2nd trip...we love it!)...anyone looking for a wonderful place to visit or retire should check out the Chiriqui provence of Panama - specifically Volcan and Boquete. Wonderful weather and friendly people. Not to mention a reasonable cost of living.
