Shane's Story

Life Shane A. Adams, TMP, IOM OrgSaver, LLC President/CEO Shane Adams has served for over 20 years in Chamber and Tourism positions and currently serves as the President/CEO of OrgSaver, LLC. He is the owner and the sole proprietor. Mr. Adams, has served as the President/CEO of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, Executive Vice President and Director of Tourism of the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Vice President of the Houma - Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and as Vice President of Operations for the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior to his current responsibilities, Adams was the Marketing and Promotions Director for a multi-state publishing company. Within two years, Adams grew the company’s net worth by over 50% and initiated several new and innovated marketing programs. Adams served as a 1st Lieutenant with the United States Army. He was responsible for the organized and coordinated efforts of a thirty-five man platoon, which performed with excellent results. Before achieving the rank of lieutenant, Adams participated in Operation Desert Storm as a squad leader. Adams was honorably discharged in 1999 having received the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Desert Storm Medal, the Georgia Defense Ribbon, 6 letters of appreciation, and was selected as Soldier of the Quarter in 1989. rtified Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) through the Southeast Tourism Society. He has been a class advisor for the Institute of Organizational Management and most recently appointed as a member of the Board of Regents for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management. Adams is a graduate of LEAD Virginia, Leadership New River Valley, Leadership Louisiana, Leadership Terrebonne, and Leadership Nassau programs. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Association, the United States Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. He is currently serving as a Regent on the Board of Regents for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institutes for Organization Management and as a Board Member of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. He has served as a Chairman of the New River Valley Chamber Coalition, and as a Board Member of the Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, Leadership Terrebonne, the SWGA Chamber Council, the First Coast Chambers Association and the Amelia Island Montessori School. Adams is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in human resources management. While at Georgia Southwestern, Adams served as the Executive Officer of the R.O.T.C. program, a Senator on the Student Government Council, a Campus Host and President of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Adams was also named to the Blue Key National Honor Fraternity, and named as one of the top 5 males at the university as determined by leadership, scholarship, and his peers, for two consecutive years.
