Shane's Story
Graduated 1983. Went to MSU for a year. X-C ski racing was great, school not so great. Came back to Whitefish for a year. Worked at Golf Course, Big Mountain and Bierstube, and ski raced. Went back to school for a semester. Met a girl and moved to seattle for three years. Got married moved to San Antonio TX for 6 mos. Moved to Fairbanks AK in 1989. Got divorced two years later. Met the love of my life (Anna) two and a half years later. Got married two years after meeting. Had our first daughter Cate in 2003. Our second daughter Samantha in 2006.

the best natural teacher I've ever met. She has a bachelors in Natural Resouce Management and is constantly teaching the girls about how plants grow, and about wildlife, etc. My oldest is already a fishing fanatic. she has her own rod and learned how to cast last year. We have a motorhome and get out as much as possible during the summer. In the winter we like to go to Hawaii. Kauai seems to be our favorite island.
Alaska is a great place to raise a family. and has been a great place to make a really good, comfortable living.
Hopefully we'll make it to the reunion this summer. I'd love for my family to meet my old friends.
