Shane's Story
Short and sweet for now: I moved home after going to grad school in arkansas for 1 year - decided getting a PhD in Biology was not what i wanted to do with my life. So i came home, went to work at the local tackle shop, and started grad school at UAH. While in grad school, i got hired by the post office and did a 2 year stint as a city carrier. Once i finished my Master's degree i got an internship with the Army, and have been there ever since.

beautiful Falkville high grad where i work and we got married in April 2006. Our son, Houston Roy, was born August 7, 2008. I am so excited about becoming a dad!!!!!
I just became an uncle - my wife's twin sister married Mark Childers, another Decatur grad. They had their first child (a boy) on June 8th.
I still fish all the time, and do a little duck hinting and deer hunting in the winter.
I can say God has really blessed everything about my life!!!
