Shanna's Story

Life I married Mark Jay...we live in Hope Mills, NC. He was Special Operations Ranger in the army, when we got married. On September 11, 2001, yes that day, I had my little girl, Aspyn! She looks alot like me!!! I now stay home with Aspyn and love it. Mark has had to go over seas several times since 9/11, so it works for us!!! Now Mark is a Blackhawk pilot in the army so, other than be wife and Mom all day, I don't do much. I went back to school for education but, at this point it is easier for me not to work. I haven't changed all that much. Still the same me...only now I'm Mom-Shanna. I love being a mom to Aspyn....it is the best thing that has ever happened to me! eacher that inspired me most was Mrs. Caldwell. She is by far one of the greatest ladies I have ever met. She is one of my heros...I thought she was great. If I could do it all over again, I would. I would have dated less...man didn't I pick some losers! I would have made sure that school was more important and I would have done more to make sure that I knew what I wanted after school!!! Still not to sure! :-) My funniest moment was yearbook...every year. I think I we always had fun in there and had some really funny moments!!! My happiest moment was any time spent being with my close friends! And, my craziest moment was falling down the stairs by the lunch room! That was also during yearbook class!!! Oh well, school could have been worse and overall it was a great time! College Started for nursing...decided it wasn't for me. Now I am going back to college...going for something in education. I haven't decided what part...just taking some education courses.
