Shannon's Story
Ummm.... Let's see.... I had no friends in school, never talked to anyone, didn't smile and sat closest to the door so I could leave as fast as I could. I was painfully shy and full of anxiety, and my self esteem was an all time low.
I opened up and became less shy when I sang in front of a crowd for the first time at age 23. That's when I first tried karaoke and I've been singing ever since.
I'm an expert in the field of taking care of kids and I am the BEST pre-K teacher ever.

hen I was 24. It's been almost 10 years since they discovered that the mass in my stomach that was thought to be me 7 months pregnant. They removed the soccer ball sized tumor and I had 3 rounds of chemo.
I've only had 2 serious boyfriends since then. I was with one for 6 1/2 years but he was a butthole and now I've been with my baby for almost 3 years.
He's a saint, an angel and my savior. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be typing this.
I just live one day at a time because we are not promised tomorrow.
