Shannon's Story
Life
Right after high school, I worked F/T in retail for OSH and Home Depot. In 1990, I was blessed with twin girls - Jessica and Samantha. In 1994, I met my husband and we were married in 1995. I graduated from Heald and worked for a Food Distributor in Pittsburg. In 1997, we were blessed with a another girl, Alyssa and moved to Antioch. In 1998, my husband graduated from the CHP Academy and was placed in the Oakland Area office. After 4 yrs of him working the streets in Oakland, we decided a change of scenery and a better school system for our children was necessary. In Sept 2001, we bought a house in Clovis, I quite my long time job in Pittsburg and my husband transfered his job to the Fresno CHP office. Since I grew up in Concord, this move was a big one for me and I can honestly say I'm glad I did. I worked for...Expand for more
a local feed company in Fresno until our youngest started Kindergarten and then took time off to be a mommy and work in the school. Jessica and Samantha are now Juniors at Buchanan High School and Alyssa is in 4th grade now. Hard to believe I have children in High School and that its been almost 20yrs since graduating YV. I am now working out of my home as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant and enjoying the time I spend with my kids and husband.
In November 2005, my husband and I renewed our wedding vows for our 10yr anniversary and went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Kathy(Gore) and I remain the best of friends and while I haven't seen anyone from high school other than those that attended our 15 yr reunion, I look forward to the day we see each other again. Maybe at our 20 or 25 yr reunion (if there is one)
