Shannon's Story
Life
I am finally doing what I was meant to do...this is my 7th year of teaching. I teach 6th grade Language Arts (my favorite subject in the world). I am married (my second marriage) to the most wonderful man in the whole world. We have 8 children from 21 to 2 1/2 (6 boys and 2 girls...5 from my first marriage, 2 from his first marriage and 1 together....My life REALLY is Yours, Mine, and Ours). We hope to retire to Colorado someday soon and live among the mountain fields. abused. I am planning to begin working on my Master's Degree and am debating a topic in English as a Second Language or Reading. There is nothing more important to me than my children. Each one is a delight in their own right. Their talents range from musician (singing and/or instrument) to acting to athletics to academics. My life is extremely full and often chaotic, but this is the way I have arranged it and very much enjoy it just as it is. Since some of the kids are older and out of the house, I'm already wondering how I am going to like it having no children at home and not having so much to do. I'm sure I'll find something though. ;-)
