Shannon's Story
I graduated from WT Woodson and went on to NYC to study fashion buying and merchandising. When I graduated from there I went to work for Woodward and Lothrop in Management at the Fair Oaks Mall. I met my husband at Woodie's and we married in 1984 in Bury St. Edmonds, England. I had my first daughter in 1986 and kept working. When I had my second daughter in 1988 I became a stay at home Mom. usband took care of our business. I volunteered at all of the girls schools for years so as they grew older I started to find time for myself. I am a Fiber Artist and teach quilting classes. Recently I set up a website and now lecture and give workshops to larger groups. In 2006 my life started to fall apart when my husband told me he wanted a divorce, it was final in Dec.2008.I have two girls in college and one is a senior in HS. We are going to get through this and be stronger because of it.
