20 years to Jeff, and we have a 17-year-old son named Jack---who really is the coolest guy ever. =) We have 3 dogs---Zoe, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Pepper, an Aussie mix, and Suki, a Chihuahua---along with one fearless cat named Malfoy.
I met my husband, Jeff, in Washington, DC while we both were in the Navy. We got married in '93 and lived in several different states---Maryland, Alabama, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arkansas---before landing here in Texas where Jeff works for NASA.
I joined the US Navy in 1992. After 2 weeks in boot camp, I got really sick. They discovered I had a rare and incurable kidney disorder. Seven years after being diagnosed I had to go on dialysis for another seven years---until my best friend, Robin, gave me one of her kidneys in March of '06! It's a true miracle that she was able to do that and I am so much more than thankful! =)".
