Shannon's Story
Life
I was married in 1988 To my husband Rob and have been living in Vernon Twp.(God's country) since then. I have two beautiful girls, Kristin and Katie as well as Terri, my wonderful step-daughter. I attended college immediately after high school and earned a B.S. in Physical Education and a minor in Athletic Training (no surprise to most who knew me!). I did not however teach then. I returned to college in 1996 and by 1998 had my teaching certificate in Special Education and Elementary Educat...Expand for more
ion. I have been teaching special education in Vernon Public Schools since March 2000. I returned to college and earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching and Learning in 2003. I'm considering a doctorate program, but haven't made the commitment yet. Might do another Master's in Technology instead. I enjoy skiing and starting snowboarding during the winter of 2007-2008.
