Life After graduating high school, I spent thirteen years married, raising children, being transferred across country to various Naval bases, and at different times worked as a dental assistant, preschool teacher, and Naval ombudsman. Ten years ago, I became divorced and moved from Charleston, South Carolina to Bend, Oregon where I returned to college and obtained two degrees. I remain living and working in Bend as an office manager for an energy-efficient, design/contracting company. My daughter, Kara, graduates from Central Oregon Community College in June and will be attending Portland State University this fall. My son, Steven, will be a high school senior next fall.
