Life
Well, I still haven't figured out if life is what I find in the spaces where I can catch my breath or in the things that leave me breathless! Scott and I celebrated our 17th anniversary this year (woot!), and we have two awsome daughters, Megan - she's 14, and Brigit - who's 12. Yikes! I work at my Church, in the Discovery Corner bookstore, plus for Adventure's childcare ministry. My daughters homeschool; thank goodness they are self-motivated. We also live with our lab, Roxie, and our cattledog, Cobber. Charis is still my bestest bud, even though I never get to see her.
I guess since we're all hitting 40 this year, it's an obvious statement that I've been reviewing life these past few months, making some little tweaks here and there. I'm satisfied. I love my family and my friends, and my God, so hey, it's cool.

College
Man, have I been putting this off! But Meg turns 15 this fall and wants to take a few classes at Sierra, so it looks like I'll be adding to the, what, 8 units I have so far. 'Cause you know, me and the establishment, we're like this!
Workplace
When Scott and I first got married, I was working my first "real" job as a youth minister in Folsom. When that job was downsized (I don't think we used that word yet!), I was pretty demoralized, so I changed my focus, went back to college, but soon majored in "Megan." Kids are what I did for a good while after that, vollunteering in their schools and even piloting a literacy program. Once they were bigger, I fished around for something that didn't bore me to tears and finally settled in small bookstore, Discovery Corner, as a manager. I like it, it's a ministry as well as a service. Plus it fits with my schedule, see "life."
