Shannon's Story
Thinking back to high school and just have to laugh. I was so naïve and shy and insecure!!!! And to top it off - thought I knew everything!! lol We were so dumb at that age!!
Married tooooo young- divorced. Then remarried at a better age-I have 3 kids and young grandchildren. Never got the opportunity to get into the field I wanted-landscaping and design drafting. Became a mother instead-which I never regretted. My children are awesome!!! Career changed to Property Management/Code Compliance (which does entail some floor plans and such when the company builds new units, so in a weird way it does fit in a little to my childhood dream of drafting) and hav...Expand for more
e been pursuing that field for over 20 years. Married to a wonderful, sweet loving man and we live in a older neighborhood and an older home (which I love!). We ended up adopting a son 9 years ago and got custody of my niece (anyone remember my horrible brother??? Yeah he's still horrible) - so we are starting over again with kids!!!!!!! -Wasn't in our plans but when God has plans for you- you just embrace it!! Also do breeding on the side- German Shepherd dogs and also have chickens!!! Currently remodeling my husbands grandparents home in East Texas-which we plan on retiring to someday. My life is super busy and fun!! And I wouldn't have it any other way.
