Shannon's Story
Life
I have been married to Michael Pearson since August 1992. I worked for several auto dealerships in Spokane as a title clerk, but when our first child, Benjamin, was born in July 1996, I was able to become a stay-at-home mom. We added two more children; Hannah, born July 1997, and Timothy, born December 1999. I truly enjoy staying at home with my kids, although it is very challenging!!
I did actually manage to live somewhere other than Spokane for a few months - when my oldest son Ben was a few months old, my husband, son, and myself packed all our belongings and moved to Chicago, where my husband Michael worked with his cousin for a few months. fferent attitude than Spokane, and I loved it!
In October 2000, we purchased our first home. The day we moved in, Oct 28, was bittersweet, because as we were moving stuff, my dad was killed while he was riding his motorcycle.
In June 2003, Michael's job with the Washington State Dept of Corrections, I.T. Dept. required that he move to headquarters in Olympia. Then in November 2004, we purchased 5 acres between Olympia and Shelton, put a home on it and have settled into the country life. We are a mile away from a boat launch into the Puget Sound and so we bought a boat and our new family together fun is going boating and letting the kids tube!
My youngest is going into kindergarten Sept 2005, so life is changing for me!!!
