Shannon's Story
Wow, where to start. It has been a long road with many ups and downs to get where i am today. but the journey was well worth it and has made me a much stronger and happier person. My life is as perfect as it gets.i am shannon schaumburg lucich i attended elk grove high during the second semester of my sophmore year thru graduation in 1988. i have been married to my husband, best friend and lover, ron, for 13 blissful years (we have been together for 19 yrs) we have three amazingly beautiful children kelly ann 21, sean 19, and taylor 16. (yes this makes ron my 2nd husband but the first does not bear mentioning) we also have a wonderful son in law ryan 27 and the most beautiful grandson in the whole world, brayden 18 months, and a granddaughter due in august. we live in penn valley ca (a little town next to grass valley by auburn)wh...Expand for more
ere we have lived for 12 yrs. i work in a large community medical clinic as the lead MA ( medical assistant) i love my job. i am currently on a 6 month medical leave due to back surgery but i plan on being back on the job and better then ever in july. do i have any regrets? a few i regret that i did not make stronger friendships while i was at elk grove high, and i regret not keeping in touch with the friends i did make, but as for the rest i feel that if you learn a lesson from the things you have done then they are learning experinces not mistakes. life was never meant to be a careful journey to the grave, arriving in an attractive well preserved package, but rather a wild ride, sliding in sideways used up and worn out, with a drink in one hand and chocolate in the other yelling hell yeah what a ride. enjoy the merry dance of life.
