Shannon's Story

Life I don't feel like I have done much but here goes.....I was married but that ended in a divorce. The day after it was final I put my poodle on a plane and moved to the Island of St. Thomas where I lived for 4 years. After 2 hurricanes (lost everything), I decided to move back to the States. Drove across the US and ended up in Scottsdale, AZ (love that heat), where I as an Executive Asst. to the Manager of Operations at Antigua Sportswear for 2 years (got great tickets to all sporting events). I then moved to Newport Beach, CA and I started a position in the Casting Dept. at Disneyland (quit laughing). Worked there for about 4 years and after 9/11 I wanted to get closer to the folks (still on Alvarado), and I moved to Moscow, Idaho w...Expand for more
here I was a caretaker on an Elk ranch and also took night classes to become a Massage Therapist. Got sucked into a manager's position with Nordstrom for the next 4 years and then left to fulfill my dream as a Massage Therapist. Came back for our 30th class reunion and decided to move back to WW. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would have come home but I did. Opened a massage studio in the back of Jefferson Park. Kathy McKeown MADE me go on a date with her brother Pat (class of 78'), and 8 months later we ran off and got married. I had to come home to find love! Pat has a 10 yr old son that keeps us busy with sports, eating, homework and once in awhile a crush on a girl. LOVE being a Mom and a Wife! Who knew??????

We lost our only brother Reed last week. He was such a rock to us and we looked up to him. He was so good to me and taught me so much. I will truly miss his laugh and guidance. Good job Weed!
What a Dude! Reed Donohue Smith Obituary Reed Donohue Smith, age 65, died Friday, June 21 as a result of his 7-month battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theron and Sharon Smith of Walla Walla, WA.
