Shannon's Story
Life
Hey all. Well, I have found myself looking back and thinking a lot about High School lately. I cannot believe it has been 17 years. So much has happened since then but yet when I think about it, it seems like yesterday we were running through those hallways trying to catch up with a friend at lunch or anxiously waiting for the announcement on who is on Mum Arbor (as if we didn't know already! haha)trying to grab a quick smoke in the john before a Ma came along!
Since 1988 I have lived in 5 different states (i get bored easily) have been married...and divorced. Have watched my Mom graduate college with her masters degree, family members pass and friends get married and have kids. I miss High School and the friends I had. I would love to rekindle some of those friendships.
I went to the Homecomming football game this year (2004)
and I was amazed at how small everything seemed. I saw all these kids and I just thought..wow, I was them once. Anyone can catch me at Shannonde1 at the yellow smiley face :)

***Update***
Well, its been another almost 4 years since my last update. A lot has changed. I have been laid off as of June 17th 2010. My sister, Kim was laid off but has found her self back at the job she loves. My mom was rifted from the Aurora shcool district but is keeping herself very busy with home improvements and substituting.
My father had a strange open heart surgery but is recovering and back at work. Ben is growing faster than a speeding bullet and with his physical therapy, getting stronger and stronger. I am so proud to be his Momma. I love him to death.
So 2010 might not be off to the best start but we are hoping with prayer and positive thoughts that the rest of the year will be smooth.
