Shannon's Story
In my profile photo, I am a blond, but when I was in high school I was a brunette! I'd vowed that when my hair turned 50% gray, I'd dye it all blond... and I did, never going back.
I was married to Greg Sperte (Arvada West clas of '78) from 1980 to 2011. We have two beautiful children, and 4 grandchildren. For the past 6 years I have been remarried to John Docheff (Pomona class 1980). Between us, we have 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 37 head of cattle, 6 horses, 3 donkeys, 3 goats, 2 llamas, 19 laying hens, 2 roosters, 2 barn cats (and now new kittens!), a border collie pup, and a lap dog named Teddy Bear.

or the past 12 years, and now as Realtor, I specialize in ag/farm land, horse property and acreage. I've lived in New Mexico, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Oregon, and Washington state. In Colorado I've lived in Arvada, Denver, Colorado Springs, Cortez, Avon, Fort Collins and now currently Longmont.
My biggest surprise in life is that God keeps blessing me in spite of the fact that I was such an immature and silly girl when I was young, and have made selfish mistakes as an adult.
